Since 2000, the Alabama Manufacturer of the Year Awards program has grown into a prestigious annual celebration attended by Alabama dignitaries and manufacturing leaders.
 

These annual awards recognize the state's top manufacturers for their accomplishments. By applying for the award, manufacturers convey their story of financial growth, manufacturing leadership, market leadership, leadership development, and workforce enhancement. Awards are presented in three categories based on the number of employees : Small Category – 99 or less; Medium Category – 100 to 399; Large Category  - 400 or greater. In addition, The Emerging Manufacturer of the Year Award may be presented to one company that has been in operation for five or fewer years and has demonstrated superior performance.

Alabama Technology Network

The Alabama Technology Network (ATN)  links Alabama Community College System (ACCS), the University of Alabama System, and Auburn University to solve the needs of industry. Each ATN regional center customizes its services to meet local needs, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to enable Alabama’s existing industry to be globally competitive. Also, ATN is the Alabama Center in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) National Network, which provides  any U.S. manufacturer with access to resources they need to succeed.

Business Council of Alabama

The Business Council of Alabama is Alabama’s foremost voice for business. The BCA is a non-partisan statewide business association representing the interests and concerns of nearly 1 million working Alabamians through its member companies and its partnership with the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama. The BCA is Alabama’s exclusive affiliate to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers.

Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association

The Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) was formed in 2001 to provide a forum for interaction among automotive companies in Alabama, to share information among its members and to provide an awareness of manufacturing trends, techniques and concerns.
